Mel provides teleealth and in-person therapy in Puyallup, WA, and she specilaizes in working with teens, adults, couples, and families. Mel provides relational and systemic therapy to their clients, grounded in the belief that our struggles make sense in context.

Mel utilizes their experiences and expertise to to support andd work with people navigating life transitions, grief and loss, relational challenges, and working through questions of identity and belonging.
Mel is especially drawn to working with individuals and couples who have felt misunderstood, over-pathologized, or pressured to shrink themselves to fit systems that weren’t build with them in mind. Many of their clients are neurodivergent, queer, multiracial, first-generation immigrants, or small business owners carrying complex histories while trying to build meaningful lives and relationships in the present.
Mel’s approach draws from Narrative Therapy, Contextual Family Therapy, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, Internal Family Systems, somatic approaches, and depth psychology – with an emphasis on slowing down, noticing patterns, and cultivating greater steadiness and self-trust. She is also Gottman Level 1 trained and trauma-informed, offering 60-90 minute sessions to allow space for depth and integration.
